Probably not, but it is extra money that i’m earning as a developer. adsense is a slow way to make money from a programming blog. it takes a lot of posts and a lot of traffic to convert into actual spendable income.. Making money online as an programmer is a great way, internet has really open the doors for programmers and developers to show their skills and make money online from creating plugins, themes or any other websites.. I don't know (personally) any programmer (engineer, designer, or most any creative type) that doesn't have a long list of ideas that could make money. problem is not in the idea but in finding the time to do it, or the investment $, or whatever..
If you’re a full time independent developer, or a programmer who creates apps or software in your spare time with an eye towards making money, choosing the right revenue model is critical.. I work as fulltime programmer and have a pretty well paid job for the country where i live, but i could do with a bit of extra cash at the moment (wife nagging about new kitchen etc.). i'd be interested in taking on small projects in my spare time.. During the development of the project, i knew could make more money with it, maybe 100$, by selling it on scriptfodder.com (which is now called gmodstore.com), the guy still tried to pay me 100$ but i refused..
